Improv Experience
I started studying improv in 1997. That's almost 30 years ago. I'm known most in the Boise Area for my Improv Level 1 work, where I take folks who have never done improv before and get them show-ready in 8 weeks. From nervous to knocking it out the park, I've helped hundreds of people achieve improv success with my reverse-engineering teaching skills. But I also help advanced short form folks level up the skills they don't even know they need. I'm like Tech Support for improv. I'm also a professional teacher with a B.A. in education and Masters in Theatre. I've taught improv for adults, teens, or kids through Full Tilt Improv, Recycled Minds Comedy, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, and more. I was a Co-Founder of Game Changer Improv which has now morphed into the current Boise CSz. My improv background includes Long Form (Theatresports style), Short Form (competitive style & comedy style), Hero's Journey, Emotional Story, and Innovation Teams Improv. I am cast in shows in the area and I love both teaching and performing. Business & Teams My business background includes owning local businesses, traveling the world managing multi-million dollar contract fulfillments, helping start-ups grow into the thousands of employees, running teams, evaluating businesses for acquisition, heading up all-company projects, and answering the phone when the CEO needs to bounce ideas, get advice, or needs help managing and implementing changes in their growing business.
